What is under Prairie Grove
Prairie Grove sits on the edge of the Boston Mountains, and that decides more about your project than any material you pick.
This is the edge of the Boston Mountains rather than the limestone plateau to the north, and the difference matters more than anything else about the site. The rock here is sandstone and shale, and the Fayetteville shale swells when it takes on water and shrinks when it dries.
